Isabelle Uny (@IsaUNY) is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Social Marketing and Health at University of Stirling (@ismh_uos). She is a social scientist who focuses on International Health and alcohol policy in the global context.
Isa specialises in qualitative alcohol policy research. Current areas of focus include alcohol policy implementation analysis (particularly policies focused on reducing availability and the supply of harmful products) at community level, alcohol policy systems and drink driving. She has an interest in FASD and alcohol screening in pregnancy (particularly in the African context).
She received her PhD in 2017 from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, for a qualitative of the lived experiences of the implementation of a maternal health policy in Malawi (http://etheses.qmu.ac.uk/2618/).
