People, Practice and Policy in Alcohol Research
Wednesday, 5th April 2017 – London
Alcohol Research UK will be holding their annual conference on Wednesday the 5th of April. The conference ‘Working Together: people, practice and policy in alcohol research’ will explore co-production, collaboration, and public involvement in alcohol research and practice.
The keynote address will be delivered by:
Professor Dame Til Wykes, Professor of Clinical Psychology and Rehabilitation at King’s College London, and founder of the Service User Research Enterprise (SURE)
The conference will combine presentations, panel debates, installations and interactive workshop sessions to encourage a dynamic and productive discussion of how alcohol research can deliver real benefits to individuals, families and society. As part of the sessions, delegates will be able to share knowledge and experience, and contribute to wider thinking on how research practices can be improved to better engage with the people and services it is targeting.
More information is available on the Alcohol Research UK webpage which can be found here.
Registration can be completed via the Eventbrite page.
