Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems (SHAAP) and the Scottish Alcohol Research Network (SARN) invite researchers to submit their research proposals for the 2023 Alcohol Occasionals series on the theme Alcohol in a changing world. We are interested to hear from researchers from any discipline who wish to share their research relating to this theme. The occasionals will take place online.
There will be four seminars in 2023, all 12:45pm-2pm UK time:

- Tuesday 25 April
- Wednesday 24 May
- Tuesday 20 June

The Scottish Alcohol Research Network (SARN) Early Career Researcher Conference (ECR) is taking place on Monday 23 January 2023 at the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh. This networking event will take place in person from 13:00-17:00 GMT and lunch will be served to all attendees.
The ECR Conference will provide early career researchers and PhD students with an opportunity to present their work and discuss future projects, whilst networking with colleagues from their field.

If you would like the opportunity to present recent studies and ongoing work in the alcohol field at this event, then please email email@example.com. Abstracts should be 150 words or less and should give a brief summary of the work you intend to present. All abstracts must include a conflict-of-interest statement to be considered (see statement below):
